Thanks to Pankaj Chaudhary’s unbeaten half-century of 55 and Rashtradeep’s 40 runs, IAS XI won the title by defeating MLA XI by 9 wickets in the final of the three-day friendly cricket competition at the Cricket Academy at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Monday. Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was the man of the series. While Pankaj Chaudhary was chosen Player of the Final, Ashok Chandna was chosen Best Batsman and Rashtradeep Yadav was chosen Best Bowler. Batting first, MLA XI scored 122 runs in 15 overs.
MLA XI captain Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathod once again batted brilliantly and scored 59 runs in just 38 balls with the help of 9 fours and one six, while former Sports Minister Ashok Chandna scored 27 runs in 20 balls with the help of three sixes.
While bowling for INS XI, Raj Rishi took two wickets. Chasing the target of 123 runs, the IAS XI team easily won the title by 9 wickets with the help of Pankaj Chaudhary’s brilliant 55 runs in 30 balls with the help of 12 fours and Rashtradeep’s 40 runs in 22 balls with the help of three fours and four sixes.
The toss of the match was done by Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara, Autonomous Government Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra were present. The prizes were distributed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Sports Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot. Five teams, MLA XI, IAS XI, Journalist XI-A, Journalist XI-B and Assembly Employees XI participated in this competition.
