Jaipur . Rajasthan once again showcased its rich heritage, royal charm and vibrant culture at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025 held in London. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari inaugurated the Rajasthan Tourism Pavilion and said that it is a proud moment for the state that its timeless identity has been presented so beautifully before the global tourism community. This pavilion of Rajasthan showcases a new tourism approach based on sustainability, inclusivity and innovation. It attracted special attention from international media, travel writers and tourism industry veterans. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said, “Rajasthan has been known in the country and abroad for its culture, tradition and hospitality for centuries. Our grand forts, golden desert and colorful festivals attract tourists from all over the world.”
He further added that the discussions held with global tour operators and partners at WTM have opened new doors of collaboration, thereby emerging Rajasthan as a premium, year-round tourism destination – a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity.
This time Rajasthan’s presentation was based on the theme “New Age Rajasthan: Confluence of Tradition and Innovation”, in which a beautiful coordination of heritage, luxury and experiential tourism was presented. Under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Additional Director of Tourism Department Anand Tripathi and Deputy Director Upendra Singh Shekhawat represented the state tourism. Major tourism circuits like Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Shekhawati and Vagad region were presented in a new interpretation in the Rajasthan Pavilion, where the diversity and experiential travel of Rajasthan was introduced through modern mediums like digital presentations, interactive screens and virtual tours.
