Shri Ram Katha started in Ramanuj Vatika, MP Mahima Kumari Mewar performed Vyas Pujan
Rajsamand. The grand inauguration of Shri Ram Katha Mahotsav, imbued with spiritual consciousness and spirit of public welfare, took place at Ramanuj Vatika on Sunday. In the story of the first day, Sadhvi Suhridaya Giri said – “Ram Katha is not entertainment, but a means of heartbreak. I have come to narrate not just the story, but the pain of this country and the creation.” Sadhvi said in her powerful sermon that every person should adopt cleanliness, cow service and nature conservation in his life. He said, “Only when we protect the five elements will we remain healthy. Doing beautiful deeds while living in this world is the true spiritual practice, and when we leave, do so with happiness.”
He said that by his actions a person can become Narayan from a human being and can also become worse than a human being. Devotion does not only mean worship, but service to mother cow and protection of trees is also a part of it.
Vyas worship and blessings
Before the Katha, Vyas Peeth was worshiped by Rajsamand MP Mahima Kumari Mewar, Girish Aggarwal, Rajni Lodha, Gopalkrishna Paliwal and Chaturbhuj Gattani. On this occasion, Sadhvi Suhridaya Giri blessed MP Mahima Kumari by covering her with Ekalai.
Chandan Singh, Giriraj Mudgal, Madhuprakash Laddha, Pushpa Sahu, Shivlal Khedi, Jayesh Sharma, Lilesh Khatri, Prahlad Vaishnav, Ayan Joshi, Rakesh Gaur, Navneet Laddha, Savita Sanadhya, and former chairman Dinesh Paliwal did the work of welcoming and garlanding the Vyas Peeth.
Shri Ram Katha started with grand Kalash Yatra
Before the Katha, a grand Kalash Yatra was taken out from Vishvambhar Mahadev Temple (Old Collectorate) at 11:30 am on Sunday. In the presence of Sadhvi Suhridaya Giri and Swami Satya Shrava, hundreds of Matrishakti started the Yatra by holding the Kalash with the slogan of “Jai Shri Ram”.
During the journey, Girish Aggarwal wore the book of Shri Ram Charit Manas on his head. The Kalash Yatra reached Ramanuj Vatika via Aavari Mata Temple, where after rest the story started. During the journey, the band of Shri Dwarkadhish Temple was creating a devotional atmosphere with its melodious tunes. Religious flags kept waving throughout the route and the devotees kept moving forward chanting “Ram Naam”.

During the listening to Ram Katha, Girijashankar Paliwal, B.L. Hundreds of devotees including Ajmera, Arjunlal Laddha, Anuradha Laddha, Sanjay Sanadhya were present. The entire atmosphere remained blissful due to the confluence of devotion, music and spirituality.
message that stuck in mind
The most resonating message of the first day of the story was this –
“Ram Katha is not a means of entertainment, but a path of mental destruction. Only when the mind is pure, change is possible in the country and society.”
Sadhvi Suhridaya Giri’s sermons not only inspired the devotees to follow the path of religion, but also described environment, cow service, cleanliness and public service as an integral part of devotion.
