A case of burning of an Islamic religious book has come to light in Jaura taluka of Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. A Muslim woman is accused of burning a religious book. The incident came to light on Thursday afternoon, causing tension in the entire area. Many people took to the streets and demanded strict police action against the accused woman. The incident took place in Imambara area on Rozana Road in Jaura, where Atiya Khan, a retired Muslim teacher from Jaura, allegedly burnt a religious book, hurting the religious sentiments of the community.
After this incident came to light, there was a lot of anger in the Muslim community. People of the community initially submitted a written application to the Jaura Industrial Police Station, demanding strict action against the accused. It is alleged that due to lack of timely action, his anger increased further. Due to this anger, last night hundreds, then thousands of people from the Muslim community, along with the officials of Seerat Samiti, reached Jaura Industrial Police Station and surrounded the station. opposition from muslim community
The protesters raised slogans and demanded immediate registration of a case against the accused and strict legal action. Considering the situation, the police had to deploy heavy force. Police have made security arrangements in the entire area to maintain law and order. There was an atmosphere of tension outside the police station till late night, but after the intervention of police officers the situation came under control.
Case registered against female teacher
Considering the seriousness of the matter, Javra Industrial Police Station has registered a case against retired teacher Atiya Khan under section 299 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) on the basis of the report of Shaheen Hussain. The police are investigating the entire matter in depth.

Additional SP Ratlam Rakesh Khakha said that the matter is related to religious sentiments. The police are investigating with full caution. He said that further action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts emerge after the investigation. He also appealed to the public to maintain peace and not pay heed to any rumours. At present, police deployment has been increased in Rozana Road and Imambara areas of Javra. The administration says that any attempt to disturb law and order will not be tolerated. The investigation into the case is ongoing and the police claim that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
