Jhunjhunu. The 77th Republic Day was celebrated in an atmosphere of joy and patriotism at the prestigious Shri JJT University of the district. In the main function organized on the university campus, academicians and students took a pledge to keep the values of the Constitution intact. The chief guest of the spectacular marchpast and flag hoisting ceremony was Eng. B.K. Tibadewala hoisted the national flag and saluted the tricolour. Special guest Mrs. Premlata Tibadewala was also present on this occasion. The NCC cadets conducted the marchpast with complete dignity and discipline, which was appreciated by the chief guests.
Campus buzzing with cultural performances
Students and faculty members of the university presented colorful cultural programs imbued with patriotism. Folk dances and patriotic songs enthused the audience. Sports Director Dr. Arun Kumar welcomed the guests by wearing a cap.

Highlighting the historical importance of Republic Day, University President Dr. Madhu Gupta said, “The Constitution of India is the largest written constitution in the world. It is the duty of every Indian to respect its values.”

During the program, students who did remarkable work in various fields and were winners in academic and sports competitions were honored by the guests with certificates.
Attendance and gratitude: Dr. Dhanesh Meena successfully conducted the function. In the end, Registrar Dr. Ajit Kumar expressed his gratitude to all the guests, staff and students. The entire academic staff of the university and a large number of students were present during the program.
