The rhetoric has once again intensified in the politics of West Bengal. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has hit out at Trinamool Congress supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saying she failed to get a lead even at the booth where she herself voted.

Claim regarding Bhawanipur seat
Shubhendu Adhikari also claimed that he won the Bhawanipur assembly seat by a margin of more than 15 thousand votes compared to Mamata Banerjee. According to him, this result is an indication of public mood and political change.
However, confirmation of this claim by the official Election Commission data has not been revealed yet.
