Palamu, The body of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Jaishankar Thakur, who hails from Palamu, Jharkhand, was found in a field in his village on Monday afternoon. Family members have accused him of killing the body with acid. After this, the family started investigating. His body was found lying in a field about half a kilometer from the village. Burning marks were found on the dead body. On receiving the information, Patan police station reached the spot and investigated with the help of dog squad, although no clear clues were found.
Station in -charge Shashi Shekhar Pandey said that prima facie the case seems to be of death from thunderstorms. He said that the real causes of death will be known only after the post -mortem report. Police is investigating all aspects. At the same time, the villagers questioned the apprehension of the police and said that the weather was completely clear on Monday and there was no thunderstorm anywhere.
Here, as soon as information about the incident was received, people from nearby villages reached the spot in large numbers. Police force has been deployed in view of the tense atmosphere. The deceased has three sons, one of whom lives outside. Family members are in a bad state.
The police have sent the body for postmortem and the investigation of the case is going on. Many leaders of Jharkhand RJD have deeply mourned his death. Describing Jaishankar’s death as suspicious, he has demanded a deep investigation.

After the incident, the police is investigating the case. The 52 -year -old Jaishankar was a resident of Utaki village under Patan police station area and was the District President of the Backward Class Cell of RJD. At around 6.30 am on Monday morning, he went to walk towards the farm in his village as usual, but did not return home even after several hours.
