Robbery at gunpoint in Begusarai, four miscreants stole silver and jewelery from jewelery shop

On Monday evening, criminals committed a major robbery at gunpoint in Begusarai. Four armed miscreants riding on two motorcycles reached Kamini Jewelers at Gurdaspur Chowk in Mansurchak police station area at around 5 pm. They entered the shop by pulling down the shutters and started attacking the shopkeeper.

According to shopkeeper Sanjeet Soni, the miscreants stole silver, silver jewellery, some light gold rings and cash from the cash box. After the incident all the miscreants ran away.

According to sources, about one and a half kilos of silver has been stolen, although the police has not yet released the official figure of the loss. Police station in-charge Govind Kumar Pandey reached the spot with his team and started investigation. After the incident, a huge crowd gathered at Gurdaspur Chowk. Till the time of writing the news, police investigation and preliminary investigation was going on.
