Special Operation Group (SOG) has got a big success in the case of selection through fake degree in the Hindi teacher recruitment examination of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). SOG has arrested two accused including the former Deputy Examination Controller of Mewar University in this case. Preliminary investigation has revealed that both of them together prepared fake educational documents, due to which a candidate was given unfair advantage in the recruitment process.

The SOG team took action and arrested both the accused. The arrested accused have been identified as Ashok Vishnoi alias Ashok Chotia (32), resident of Chotis Ki Dhani, Jhanwar (Jodhpur) and Sushil Sharma (43), resident of Adarsh Nagar, Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh). According to the investigating agency, Sushil Sharma has been a former Deputy Controller of Examinations in Mewar University. He is accused of playing an important role in preparing fake degrees and educational documents.
Benefit given in recruitment through fake documents
Preliminary investigation by SOG has revealed that the accused prepared fake educational certificates and other documents for a candidate, which were used in the RPSC Hindi teacher recruitment process. On the basis of these documents, the possibility of the candidate getting unfair advantage in the selection process has been raised. The investigating agency is now busy finding out who else were involved in this entire network and how many candidates were benefited through fake degrees.
Interrogation on five days remand
After the arrest, both the accused were presented in the court, from where SOG got five days’ remand. During this time, both of them are being thoroughly interrogated by the officials. SOG hopes that the interrogation may lead to many important revelations related to the network preparing fake degrees, other associates and potential beneficiaries.

SOG is continuously taking strict action on cases related to fake documents and paper leaks in recruitment examinations in Rajasthan. After the scams that have come to light in many recruitment examinations in recent years, the agency is thoroughly investigating such cases.
