Dungarpur. MLA Sagwada Shankar Lal Decha on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Government of India Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and requested him to start new trains regarding railways in Vagad. On this, Minister Vaishnav said that new gifts will be given to Dungarpur soon for the three works requested by MLA Sagwada. He said that Vande Bharat train will be started from Udaipur to Ahmedabad very soon. MLA Sagwada Decha requested to start new trains soon in Mumbai, Surat, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Dungarpur, Udaipur, on which he assured. He said that the government is working on connecting those areas by rail on priority and Vagad has been given priority in this. He told that there is a plan to connect Neemuch, Banswara, Dahod by rail and they are working on it and that work will also start soon. The Minister said that the Railway Department is also working diligently with the government to provide its services in basic facilities in the tribal areas. MLA Sagwada Decha also assured to take action against naming the train after Vagad. On this occasion, the Minister praised the development work of the Rajasthan Government and said that the Rajasthan Government is also giving full support to the Railway Ministry, which will increase the rail network in Rajasthan.
MLA Shankarlal Decha also requested to start three night trains, one of which is Vande Bharat train from Udaipur to Ahmedabad, the second to extend Mewadhchetak Express to Dungarpur Ahmedabad and the third to start a new train between Udaipur, Dungarpur, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Mumbai and name it Vagad Express. On which the minister called the officials of the department and asked them to take necessary action on this. MLA Sagwada Decha expressed his gratitude on this.
