Qualified for the prestigious Subroto Cup for the first time
Chittorgarh. The All India IPSC (Indian Public Schools Conference) football tournament (Under-14 boys category) held at Sainik School concluded in an enthusiastic atmosphere on Friday. MLA Chandrabhan Singh Akya, the chief guest of the closing ceremony, in his address appreciated the enthusiasm, discipline and sportsmanship of the players and said that 14 prestigious school teams from across the country participated in this competition and displayed amazing sportsmanship, discipline, dedication and excellent talent.

The competition was organized under the direction of school principal Colonel Anil Dev Singh Jasrotia, Vice Principal Lieutenant Colonel Parul Srivastava and administrative officer Major C Srikumar. This three-day prestigious competition was started on May 11 in which talented students from different states of the country displayed excellent sportsmanship, discipline and sportsmanship.

During the competition, there were very exciting matches between all the teams, in which the players showed discipline, dedication and sportsmanship. In the competition, the team of host Sainik School Chittorgarh performed brilliantly and won the championship trophy. With this historic win, Sainik School Chittorgarh has also qualified for the prestigious Subroto Cup football competition. The 65th Subroto Cup International Football Tournament will be held in the month of August-September 2026. This achievement is considered a matter of pride for the school, Chittorgarh district and Rajasthan. The team displayed excellent coordination, aggressive play and a strong defensive line throughout the tournament. The team from Tashi Namgyal Academy, Gangtok was the runner up, while Modern School New Delhi secured the third position. In individual performance, Cadet Ravindra of Sainik School Chittorgarh was declared “Best Player of the Tournament” for his excellent sporting performance. Harsh Uppal of DPS RK Puram New Delhi was given the “Best Goalkeeper” award for his excellent goalkeeping. The best defender in the competition was Reong of Tashi Namgyal Academy, Gangtok.
In the competition, the responsibility of IPSC Observer Rajesh Ojha and referee was performed by Lokesh Bunkar, Mohammad Shakeel, Shankarlal Khatik, Suresh Chandra Nayak, Naresh Suyal, Suraj Meena, Jagdish Samdani, Manoharlal Kumawat, Sohanlal Meghwal, Radheshyam Teli, Kamlesh Jat, Mohit Diwan, Rizwan, Arshad and Pradeep. CHM Munbul Narjari and PTI Havildar M Naveen Kumar successfully conducted the competition as co-coordinators. At the end of the ceremony, chief guest MLA Chandrabhan Singh Akya presented the championship trophy to the winning team Sainik School Chittorgarh.
