Panchkula. ‘Samta Run’ marathon was organized on Tuesday in Panchkula, Haryana on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini flagged off the marathon. Many ministers and MLAs of Haryana government participated in this program. While addressing the program, Chief Minister Saini said that Baba Saheb considered education as the biggest weapon. He gave us this message and said ‘Be educated, be organized and fight.’ We should adopt these words in our lives. CM Yogi said that positivity and change can be brought in the society through education, awareness and unity.
He said that he wishes all the best to all the participants taking part in the marathon. You ran this marathon with full enthusiasm and energy. CM Saini said, “We should give a message to spread the message of equality and justice in the society. This race will showcase not only the speed of your feet but also the power of your thoughts.”
Chief Minister Saini further said, “I once again bow to Babasaheb. I appeal to everyone to continue moving forward on the path shown by him. Let us all together build an India which is based on the values of equality, justice and fraternity. With this faith and determination, let us all together make the Samata Marathon successful and make a new beginning of positive change in the society.”
Earlier, Chief Minister Nayab Saini paid tribute to Bhimrao Ambedkar through a post on social media platform ‘X’. He wrote, “Heartfelt tribute to Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, the creator of the Indian Constitution and symbol of social harmony, on his birth anniversary. The strong foundation of social justice and equality established by Baba Saheb is still guiding us towards making the nation united, strong and self-reliant.”
