New Delhi. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala has strongly hit back at Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan’s statement in which he had made controversial remarks regarding Operation Sindoor that India had lost on the first day of Operation Sindoor. On Prithviraj Chavan’s statement, Shehzad Poonawala said that praising Pakistan is in the DNA of Congress. While talking to in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said that the Congress party has made it its identity to insult the army while praising Pakistan. Praising Pakistan is their DNA. Instead of boosting the morale of the army on Vijay Diwas, Rahul Gandhi’s close aide Prithviraj Chavan demoralized the army by questioning its capability and capacity in Operation Sindoor. He even suggested that the army be abolished and other tasks be assigned to them. When the media asked him again whether he would say something on the statement given by him, he said that his statement is correct. Apart from this, Congress MP Ujjwal Raman Singh also supported him. This has become the character of Congress.
Taking aim at Rahul Gandhi, the BJP spokesperson said that Rahul Gandhi had called the surgical strikes as ‘khoon ki daali’, raised questions on the Balakot air strike, and called Operation Sindoor a ‘sporadic surrender’. The court has repeatedly reprimanded Rahul Gandhi for his statements insulting the army.
The BJP spokesperson blamed the Congress party and said that the Congress did not refute his statements. Congress has not expelled him yet, rather its MPs are busy justifying it.
Shahzad Poonawala said that after 26/11, Pakistan was given a clean chit by giving it the status of Most Favored Nation. Didn’t listen to Air Force Chief. When we attacked Pakistan at home, how were attempts made to insult the army and demoralize the army through our statements? The public is watching everything and also ensures a befitting reply from time to time.
