Ambala. Haryana Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij today paid tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose by offering flowers on his statue in strong winds and rain at Subhash Park in Ambala Cantonment on the occasion of his birthday (Valour Day). He saluted in military style in front of the 12 feet high statue of Netaji and raised slogans of ‘Netaji Amar Rahe’ along with BJP workers. On this occasion, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that today is the birthday of leader Subhash Chandra Bose ji and in his name we have built Subhash Park here in Ambala Cantonment. He said that today, like every year, ever since this park was built, ever since Netaji has been sitting here, we come here to pay our respects. It is noteworthy that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today on January 23, the birthday of leader Subhash Chandra Bose is celebrated as Bravery Day. During the program, Energy Minister Anil Vij along with the workers bowed to Netaji and later distributed laddus to everyone on the occasion of his birthday. On this occasion, Municipal Council President Swarn Kaur, BJP leader Sanjeev Soni, Ashish Aggarwal, Harsh Bindra, Ravi Budhiraja, Vikas Behgal, Pravesh Sharma and a large number of officials and workers were present.
It is noteworthy that due to the tremendous efforts of Energy Minister Anil Vij in Ambala Cantonment, Haryana’s most beautiful Subhash Park, dedicated to leader Subhash Chandra Bose, has been built in Ambala Cantonment, which is spread over 17 acres, where thousands of people come every day and get inspired by the life of Netaji. This park was established with the efforts of Minister Anil Vij. This park is counted among the most beautiful parks of the state, where people from all over the state come for picnic and to admire its beauty.
