On Friday, the domestic stock market witnessed a tremendous rise after a long time. In the last trading session of the week, the market closed with a gain of about 2 percent. Today BSE Sensex closed at 75,527.95 with a huge gain of 1,695.40 points (2.30%). At the same time, NSE Nifty 50 index closed at 23,622.90 with a strong gain of 461.30 points (1.99%). It is noteworthy that due to increasing expectations of an agreement between America and Iran, the prices of crude oil fell, which led to a rise in the market.
**Market opened with a gain of more than 1 percent**
On Friday, the market’s major indices – Sensex and Nifty 50 – opened with gains of more than 1 per cent. BSE Sensex opened at 74,709.27 with a gain of 876.72 points (1.19%). Similarly, the NSE Nifty 50 index opened at 23,412.55 with a gain of 250.95 points (1.08%).
**Bajaj Finance shares surge**
On Friday, 28 out of 30 Sensex companies closed with gains (green), while the remaining two closed with losses (red). At the same time, 39 out of 50 companies in Nifty 50 closed with gains and the remaining 11 closed with decline. Bajaj Finance shares were the biggest gainer among Sensex companies, rising 5.62%. In contrast, shares of IT major Tech Mahindra witnessed the biggest decline, falling 2.24%.
