A tragic road accident took place in Udaipur city on Thursday, in which a bike rider died after being hit by a car. After this incident, angry local people pelted stones at the police, due to which the situation became tense. After this the police arrested 29 people and seized 50 bikes and 2 cars.

The police took immediate action on this and arrested 29 people. Besides, 50 bikes and 2 cars were also seized, which were suspected to be linked to the respective accused.
DSP Suryaveer Singh Rathod said that a case has been registered against the accused for vandalizing government property, attacking policemen and under serious sections. Police said that such a violent demonstration was an attempt to disturb law and order, which will be dealt with utmost strictness.
Post mortem of the deceased and situation under control
Police deployed additional forces at the incident site and tried to control the situation. The post-mortem of the deceased’s body was done late night and the body was handed over to his family on Friday morning. The DSP said that the police has started seriously investigating the entire incident and at present the situation is under control.
