Jaipur. Under the leadership and guidance of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, various programs and activities are being organized across the state under the Tribal Pride Year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. As per the instructions of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, students were introduced to the personality and work of Lord Birsa Munda in the prayer meetings of government schools on Monday. During this period, speeches, essays and painting based on the inspiring life of Lord Birsa Munda were organized in schools, in which thousands of students participated enthusiastically. Chief Executive Officer Pratibha Verma said that a series of various programs have started under the Tribal Pride Year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda from 1 to 15 November 2025. This event by the state government is an important initiative towards spreading the ideals, struggle and contribution of Lord Birsa Munda to the common people as well as providing benefits of schemes to the deprived sections of the society. Under the upcoming programs, speech, essay and painting competitions will be organized in colleges on 4th November on the life, thoughts and contribution of Lord Birsa Munda. On November 6, toy manufacturing workshops will be organized at the Panchayat Samiti level in collaboration with Rajivika, the objective of which is to connect rural women with self-employment and innovation. Floral tributes will be offered to Lord Birsa Munda along with cultural programs in the Gram Panchayats of Mada areas. In this sequence, various public awareness, cultural and developmental activities will be organized under the Tribal Pride Year till 15th November.
Chief Executive Officer Pratibha Verma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is making development a campaign of public participation. This series, started on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, is an inspiring initiative towards giving respect to the tribal pride, self-respect and culture of the society.
