Udaipur. Raghuveer Singh Meena, who was made the new President of Udaipur Dehat District Congress Committee under the “Organization Creation Campaign” of All India Congress Committee, formally took charge today. After the formal puja held at the party office in Surajpol at the auspicious time, outgoing President Kachru Lal Choudhary handed over the command of the post of President to him.

Addressing the taking charge ceremony, Raghuveer Singh Meena said that the post of District President is not a responsibility assigned to him personally, but to the entire Udaipur Dehat organization. He said, “There is a clear message from the Congress leadership that following the orders of the party, we all should sit on one platform and work together. No one is big or small in the organization, wherever the responsibility is given, the real discipline is to fulfill it with full devotion.”
Referring to his political journey, Meena said that he started his journey from the post of Sarpanch, then worked in various roles in the organization by becoming MLA, Minister, PCC Vice President, Youth Congress President and MP.
Expressing his gratitude towards Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, he said, “Together we will strengthen the Congress in Udaipur Dehat and defeat the BJP in the upcoming local body and panchayat elections.”

Outgoing President Kachru Lal Chaudhary said that Raghuveer Singh Meena has been unanimously made the District President under the “Organization Creation Campaign”. He said, “Thank you for the support you all gave during my tenure. Now it is our responsibility to strengthen the hands of the new President and empower the Congress at the grassroots level.”
