There was a heated argument between a Congress MLA and a Tehsildar in a Tehsil office in Rajasthan/Uttar Pradesh. The reason for the dispute was a matter related to government land. The Tehsildar warned the MLA in clear words and said, “Don’t talk unnecessarily, it will go wrong. This land is government, who will give me orders?”
According to sources, the matter heated up when the MLA came to put pressure on the use of the land. The Tehsildar clearly said that any kind of illegal interference on government land is not acceptable and he will take action only as per the rules and orders.
Eyewitnesses said that there was a heated argument between the two sides during the meeting. The Tehsildar repeatedly advised the MLA to follow the law and government orders. After this the matter calmed down, but the video and audio clips are becoming increasingly viral on social media.
Experts say that matters related to government land are sensitive and the officer should not compromise with the rules under any pressure. The attitude of the Tehsildar sets an example that administrative officers should remain independent and impartial in their duties.
This incident also showed how important it is to strike a balance between political pressure and administrative rules. At present, the case has not been registered at the administrative level, but people’s discussion and comments about it are continuing on social media.
