Mumbai, March 17 (). Afghan cricketer Naveen-ul-Haq criticized Pakistan for the air strikes in Kabul that killed 400 people. Cricketer Naveen Ul Haq said that it is difficult to understand that there is any difference between the attacks on Iran by Israel and America and the attacks on his country’s capital.
Cricketer Naveen-ul-Haq wrote on his Facebook wall, “It is difficult to find difference between Israel and Pakistan regimes.”
Naveen-ul-Haq is among several Afghan cricketers who condemned the air strikes, which killed several civilians.
Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan also condemned the attacks, calling them ‘horrible and deeply worrying’ and said he stood ‘with the Afghan people in these difficult times’.
He said, “I am deeply saddened by the latest reports of civilian casualties due to Pakistani air strikes. Targeting civilian homes, educational institutions or medical infrastructure, whether intentionally or accidentally, is a war crime. Such disregard for human life, especially in the holy month of Ramzan, is appalling and deeply worrying. It will only fuel division and hatred.”

Another Afghan cricketer, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, also expressed grief over the loss of lives of ‘innocent people’ in the Pakistan attack and questioned how long the world would remain silent on these incidents.

Many fans also supported these cricketers and condemned the civilian massacre committed by Pakistan.
There have been continuous conflicts between Pakistan and Afghanistan since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan. Pakistan claims that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Baloch insurgents operate from Afghanistan and carry out several attacks across the border. The Afghan Taliban alleges that Pakistan is harboring Islamic State terrorists.
A few months ago, Pakistan had bombed several places across the border in Afghanistan, killing three domestic cricketers. As a result, the Afghanistan Cricket Board had withdrawn its cricket team from the tri-series to be held in Pakistan.
