Farrukhabad. In Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, a young man shot and injured a girl allegedly after a dispute in a love affair. The girl is undergoing treatment in the hospital. At the same time, the police is busy investigating this incident. Information came to light that the young man and the girl were allegedly planning to get married. However, there was a dispute between the two on some issue. After this the young man reached near the girl’s house and attacked her. The bullet hit the girl in the leg, after which she was admitted to the district hospital. Additional Superintendent of Police Girish Kumar said that on June 11, at around 9:45 pm, we received information that a young man had shot and injured a girl. Police immediately reached the spot and took the injured girl to the district hospital for treatment. Initial investigation has revealed that both knew each other for about one and a half years and had also talked on the phone earlier that day.
He said that there was a dispute between the two over the phone and after that the youth committed the incident. Additional Superintendent of Police Girish Kumar said that after the complaint by the girl’s family, a case has been registered against the accused and police teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
The police officer said that the doctors have declared the girl’s condition to be stable. At present, legal action is being taken in this incident.
Meanwhile, Dr Deepak Tiwari of Lohia District Hospital said that based on the nature of the wounds, blackening is visible, but we cannot confirm whether these injuries were caused by weapons or not. X-ray and other medical consultations have been done to confirm this. The patient’s condition is stable. The wounds have been stitched and bleeding has been controlled.
