Threat to bomb Patna Civil Court, court premises evacuated

Patna’s Civil Court Complex has received a bomb threat. This is the third time that the court has received a bomb threat. After the threat the entire complex was evacuated. The police administration is investigating. According to reports, the threat to blow up the court was given through a letter, due to which the police is taking action.

After the threat, bomb squad and dog squad reached the court complex and started investigation. It is learned that as soon as the news of the threat was received, there was chaos in the entire complex. According to reports, police received information that three RDX bombs were planted inside the court complex.

Administration and security agencies became active after receiving serious information. As a precaution, the entire court complex was immediately evacuated. Judges, lawyers and staff were evacuated from their chambers and sent to safe places.

Due to security reasons, the administration has immediately stopped all the activities of the court. Entry into the campus has been completely stopped. Petitioners, witnesses and prisoners are also not allowed to enter the court. All court activities have been stopped due to security reasons.

On receiving information about the incident, the police of local Peerbahor police station reached the spot and the entire complex is being thoroughly investigated. In view of the danger, the bomb squad and other security agencies have also been alerted. According to information received from the administration, the situation is being monitored and further decisions will be taken only after the investigation is completed.
