The tourist season is at its peak in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, in such a situation, great negligence of the Forest Department has come to light in the Tiger Safari in Nahargarh Biological Park. One wheel of the safari vehicle got stuck on the broken road, due to which the tourists were stranded in the forest for about 30 minutes.
Tourist trapped in front of tiger
According to the viral video, a tiger was sitting at some distance from the vehicle at the time of the incident. Panic spread among the tourists as the tiger came closer to the car. The tourist alleges that after the vehicle got stuck, he tried to call the Forest Department officials, but no one picked up the phone. After about 30 minutes, a team of the Forest Department reached the spot and the tourist was taken out safely. However, NDTV Rajasthan does not confirm this video.
‘Pressure to delete video’
Due to the fear of the sensitivity and negligence of the matter coming to light, the ranger and forest officials put pressure on the tourist to delete the video made of the incident. The tourist had initially deleted the video, but later took it out and made it viral on social media. The tourist clearly says that his motive behind bringing back the video was to expose the negligence of the Forest Department, due to which the life of the tourist was in danger.
When attempts were made to contact forest department officials regarding the viral video, they did not respond to phone calls. Moreover, when a journalist went to his office, he was also not available.
