Lalsot. A major road accident has occurred on the Dausa-Kothun National Highway in Lalsot of Dausa district at around 3 pm on Wednesday. Here between Barka Pada and Lakhanpur village, a speeding trailer hit the police Bolero of Jhampada police station doing night patrolling from behind. The collision was so severe that both the police vehicle and the trailer overturned into a deep ditch about 20 feet below the road. Three policemen have been seriously injured in this accident. Giving information about the incident, RPS Kailash Meena said that the police team of Jhampada police station was on routine night patrolling on the National Highway. Meanwhile, a trailer coming from behind, which was moving at a very high speed, suddenly went out of control. Initial investigation has revealed that the driver of the trailer had suddenly dozed off, due to which he lost control of the vehicle and hit the police Bolero from behind. Hearing the screams and receiving information about the accident, another police team from Jhampada police station immediately reached the spot. The police, with the help of local people, took care of the injured and immediately took them to Lalsot District Hospital through ambulance.
The injured policemen have suffered serious head injuries. After first aid, seeing the critical condition of two policemen, doctors have referred them to Jaipur for better treatment:
Head constables Lakhan and Sanjay: Have been referred to Jaipur due to critical condition.
Babulal (Bolero driver): He is currently undergoing treatment at Lalsot District Hospital.
In this horrific collision, the driver and operator (cleaner) of the trailer also suffered minor injuries, who were given first aid in the hospital. After the accident, there was a jam-like situation on the National Highway for some time, to clear which the police immediately called a crane. With the help of a crane, both the damaged vehicles overturned in the ditch were pulled out and safely sent to the police station. Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
