Sasaram. An uncontrolled container (truck) rammed into a bus and a pickup in Dinara police station area of Rohtas district of Bihar on Monday morning, killing five people while others were seriously injured. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. According to the police, this accident happened near Belvaiya Mathiya turn on Ara-Mohaniya National Highway number. All the deceased are said to be from the same family, who were returning after attending a Tilak ceremony. It is said that all the people were returning to the village after offering tilak of Ashok Kumar’s daughter in Lodhi village of Chenari. Some people were getting down from the bus after parking the bus and pickup at a turn near the village and were preparing to go home after unloading some belongings from the pickup.
Meanwhile, an uncontrolled container hit everyone. Five people died and about 10 people were injured in this incident. After this incident the atmosphere of the wedding turned into mourning. All the five victims of the accident are said to be from the same family. The deceased have been identified as Ramvrat Singh, resident of Bhagwanpur village of Karghar, the girl’s father and Ashok Singh, Pintu Singh, Rajneesh Kumar and Chhotu Kumar, residents of Mathiya village.
Police have seized the container, while the driver fled from the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The injured were taken to Dinara Primary Health Center for treatment, where after first aid, the doctor referred them to Sadar Hospital Sasaram after seeing the serious condition. The bodies have been taken to Sadar Hospital Sasaram for post-mortem. The condition of all the injured remains stable.
