Jodhpur. Under the lead of Police Commissioner East’s cyber cell in-charge Rakesh Singh and in-charge Shyam Singh, the CST team took major action under the NDPS Act late in the night.
The suspicious Scorpio vehicle was stopped and investigated in front of Shiv Shakti Hotel located in Kakani on Jodhpur-Pali Highway in Luni police station area. About 500 grams (half kg) of MDMA drug was recovered from the possession of vehicle driver Magaram Dhatarwal, resident of Chamu. Detailed investigation is going on regarding the purchase, sale and supply of illegal drugs. This action was led under the guidance of Omprakash IPS, Commissioner Jodhpur.
According to police sources, more revelations are likely to be made in the coming time and this action is being considered an important step in the direction of stopping drug trafficking.
