New Delhi. On the birth anniversary of Shehnai emperor Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan, Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of many states paid tribute. He said that his contribution in strengthening national unity is incomparable. Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan, the emperor of Shehnai, had enthralled the world with the tune of his Shehnai. He has a huge contribution in taking Shehnai to the global stage. He also received the Bharat Ratna award for his contribution to Indian music. Ustad Bismillah Khan was born on 21 March 1916 in Dumraon, Bihar. As long as Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan lived, he used to wake up Baba Vishwanath by playing Shehnai.
