UP Police's big operation: Encounter of 5th accused of Disha Patni House firing, accused has warned

The Bareilly police arrested the fifth suspect involved in the shootout at Bollywood actress Disha Patni’s house during an encounter in the royal police station area. An encounter between police and miscreants took place late Friday night near the Bihar Bridge, in which 19 -year -old Ramnivas alias Deepak alias Deepu resident Bedkala, Thana Jaitaran, District Beawar (Rajasthan) was injured. A reward of Rs 25,000 was declared on the accused.

Police recovered a .32 bore pistol, four live and four khok cartridges from his possession. Another accused Anil Putra Satish resident Rajpur, Thana Badi, District Sonipat were also arrested from the spot with a pistol of .315 bore, two live and four khokh cartridges. Both the accused were riding on the Splendor Plus bike with no number plate.

According to the police, these miscreants had carried out firing at Disha Patni’s house and were constantly active. The royal police station and SWAT team surrounded them by running a joint operation. After the encounter, the injured accused were sent to the hospital for treatment. Police say the search for other gang members is going on. A video of the accused has also surfaced, in which he promises that he will never return to Uttar Pradesh.

At around 3:45 am on September 12, two bike -riding criminals fired nine rounds at Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly. After the attack, the gang took responsibility on social media and claimed that it had a revenge for the comments made by the actress’s sister Khushboo Patani about the narrator Premanand Maharaj and Anirudhacharya. After the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to Disha Patani’s father and former DSP Jagdish Patani over phone and assured the family of security. Police investigated more than 2,500 CCTV footage to identify the accused.
