Coming down hard on the heinous crimes against innocent children, a special court in Rajkot on Saturday awarded death sentence to a criminal who brought shame to humanity. The court ordered death sentence to 30-year-old Ram Singh Ter Singh, who raped and subjected a 7-year-old girl to inhuman cruelty. This case was not only of rape, but also of extreme cruelty of the culprit. During the incident, the accused had inserted a 5-inch long iron rod in the private part of the innocent girl.
After this horrific attack, the condition of the girl became very critical. A special team of doctors succeeded in saving the girl’s life after many hours of effort and complex surgery.
