A video of Sana Qadir, a Pakistani content creator and self-proclaimed investigative journalist, is being discussed a lot on social media these days. In this video, Sana is claiming that she easily entered the Indian border from Ganda Singh Wala border located in Kasur district of Punjab province of Pakistan. However, netizens have rubbished his claims; He has called this video completely false and trolled Sana fiercely.
In the viral video, Sana can be seen standing at a place where a makeshift fence has been built using bamboo and rope. She claims that this is the international border between India and Pakistan, and says that she crossed the border without any restriction and entered Indian territory. Pointing to a construction site in the video, she comments, “Pakistan’s development is far ahead of India’s because work is still going on on the Indian side.”
As soon as this video went viral, users from both India and Pakistan took Sana to task. Describing the truth of that place, people said that the real border gate behind Sana is clearly visible in the video, which makes it clear that she is still inside the Pakistani border. It is worth noting that the “Zero Line” on the India-Pakistan border is strictly monitored by the BSF (Border Security Force) and Pakistan Rangers; The boundary there is certainly not determined by bamboo and rope. Experts say the construction site Sana is referring to in the video is actually located a few hundred meters away from the actual border – and is still inside Pakistani territory.
Although Sana’s video has received thousands of likes so far, users are trolling her fiercely in the comment section. One user wrote, “You call yourself an investigative journalist, but you have no idea about international borders or the Zero Line.” Another user dismissed the video as “cheap propaganda”, saying it was just a ploy to gain followers.
