No one can tell what will go viral on social media or what stories people will create related to it. Nowadays one such video is in discussion; Onlookers claim that a train driver stopped the entire train in the middle of the journey because he loved samosas and kachoris. Sharing the video on social media, a user wrote, “Now I understand why trains run late – the driver loves samosas here, so he stopped the train!” This video immediately went viral and people started making fun of the Railways. But did this really happen? Come, let us know the whole truth behind this viral video.
**What is shown in the viral video?**
This short viral video starts from a small shop near the railway track. A man wearing a blue uniform is standing there buying some food items. As the camera rotates slightly, a large train is seen parked on the adjacent track. In the video, the man is seen walking back to the train with a packet of samosas and kachori and boarding the engine. People nearby are watching this entire scene with surprise. On the basis of this video, people started trolling Railways on social media.
**Railways told the real story**
When this matter became widely discussed online, Western Railways clarified and told the truth. Railways said that the claims going on on social media are completely false and misleading. Actually, it was not a passenger train but a goods train. Repair work was going on on the track, due to which the goods train was already stopped there. The train was not stopped to buy samosas. When the train was stopped for operational reasons, the Assistant Loco Pilot came down in his spare time and bought some samosas and kachoris as a snack. Railways said some people mischievously edited the video and spread the false story that the driver had stopped the passenger train just to buy kachori.
Mixed reactions from users
Despite the Railways clarifying the situation, social media users continued to leave funny comments. One user smiled and wrote, “Well, at least the driver will not drive the train on an empty stomach.” Another user commented, “Nowadays people go viral on social media without knowing the truth; Railways has brought out the truth at the right time.” Another user commented, “Anyone can get hungry while on duty; if the train is already stopped, what’s the harm in having something to eat?” Currently, both the video and the Railways’ response are garnering a lot of attention online.
