Air pollution in Delhi has once again reached critical levels. In many areas of the capital, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded more than 400, which is considered very dangerous for health. According to the SAMEER app, at 6 am the highest AQI level was recorded at 409 in Dwarka Sector 8, 419 in Jahangirpuri, 426 in Nehru Nagar, 410 in RK Puram and 405 in Siri Fort.

The air in these areas has been kept in very poor category. The poisonous air present here is a serious threat to health. Among the areas of Delhi where AQI was recorded between 300 and 400, 335 was recorded in Alipore, 373 in Anand Vihar, 369 in Ashok Vihar, 310 in Aya Nagar and 363 in Bawana. AQI 348 was recorded in Burari Crossing, 398 in Chandni Chowk, 312 in Mathura Road and AQI 394 was recorded in Karni Singh area.

AQI of these areas crossed 300.

362 in DTU, 313 in IGI Airport, 376 in ITO, 381 in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, 322 in Lodhi Road, 330 in Major Dhyanchand National Stadium, 319 in Mandir Marg, 377 in Mundka, 334 in Najafgarh, 332 in Narela, 347 in North Campus, 317 in Okhla Phase 2, 332 were recorded in Patparganj, 367 in Punjabi Bagh, 399 in Pusa, 312 in Shadipur, 364 in Sonia Vihar, 349 in Sri Aurobindo Marg, 371 in Vivek Vihar and 387 in Wazirpur.

Thus, all the AQI monitoring stations in the capital are in the red zone, where serious pollution conditions can be clearly seen. The air quality in these areas has reached the severe category. Pollution is causing irritation in eyes, difficulty in breathing, headache and serious lung problems. However, the administration is continuously monitoring the situation.

How will the weather be in Delhi?
Regarding the weather of Delhi, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for cold wave and dense fog in Delhi today. The minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 4 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 20 degrees Celsius. However, the temperature is expected to fluctuate in the coming days.
