Tata Motors is now all set to expand its business in a new form. Following the company’s split in October 2025, the company’s new subsidiary, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, is now set to be listed on the stock exchange. It will be listed in T Group category on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The company has set a face price of ₹2 per share.

Following this split, Tata Motors will now operate as two separate companies: Tata Motors PV and Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles. Tata Motors will manufacture PV passenger and electric vehicles, while Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles will manufacture buses and other heavy vehicles. The company said in a statement about this merger that both the units will get the opportunity to better focus on their respective areas and grow faster, which will benefit both the units. The company also described this decision as beneficial for investors.

JP Morgan’s opinion

According to a report by JPMorgan, Tata Motors is raising its passenger vehicle forecast, while Jaguar is lowering its forecast for Land Rover. JP Morgan has adopted a cautious stance on Jaguar. The company’s performance may be impacted by new US tax rules, China’s luxury tax and delays in the launch of new models. According to the report, a gradual improvement in the market is expected to boost growth. However, this is making it difficult for the company to increase profits.

SBI Securities Report

The SBI Securities report states that Jaguar Land Rover is currently facing many challenges. A recent cyber attack has affected the company’s production, while increasing competition in China and falling demand in markets like the US and Europe could further compound its problems.
