The distribution of the 21st installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has started and is progressing rapidly in various states. The Central Government has so far deposited this amount in the accounts of a large number of farmers of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. This scheme was also launched in Jammu and Kashmir on 8 October. Around 8,50,000 farmers will be benefited here, who will get around ₹170 crore under this scheme.

In the remaining states, the process is expected to be completed by mid-October, before Diwali. According to the information, this scheme of the Central Government ensures a minimum annual income of about ₹ 6,000 for the farmers. This income is distributed to the farmers in three equal installments.

Each beneficiary farmer receives ₹2,000 directly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)

In Madhya Pradesh, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently announced the launch of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which has greatly helped the farmers of flood affected areas. It is noteworthy that more than 11 crore farmers of the country get the benefit of this scheme. Each beneficiary farmer receives a direct DBT payment of ₹2,000. If this amount is deposited in the accounts of farmers before Diwali, it will help them in crop preparation and festive shopping.

Government had advised all farmers to complete e-KYC

Some time ago, the government had advised all farmers to complete e-KYC. Farmers can check their beneficiary status by visiting pmkisan.gov.in. The government is planning to expand the scheme further in the coming months so that small farmers can also join it.
