Indian Bank Loan Recovery: Public sector Indian Bank has set a target of recovery of bad loans (NPAs) worth Rs 5,500 crore in the current financial year (2026-27).
Binod Kumar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD and CEO) of Chennai-based Indian Bank, said in a conversation, “The bank has recovered Rs 1,885 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year.” We aim to recover Rs 4,500 to Rs 5,500 crore in the entire financial year. Every effort will be made to achieve the set target by the end of the financial year.
