A tremendous recovery was seen in the domestic stock market today. The reason for this was the hope that the ongoing conflict between Iran, America and Israel would end soon. On Wednesday, BSE Sensex closed at 73,134.32, up 1,186.77 points (1.65 per cent). At the same time, NSE Nifty 50 index also closed at 22,679.40 today by rising 348.00 points (1.56 percent). On Wednesday, almost all the indices closed with gains. Stock markets were closed on Tuesday on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. As a result, there will be trading only for three days this week. It is worth noting that the market had fallen significantly on Monday.
Tremendous rise in Tata Group shares
On Wednesday, out of 30 companies listed in Sensex, shares of 25 closed in the green mark (up), while the shares of the remaining 5 companies closed in the red mark (down). Similarly, out of 50 companies included in Nifty 50, shares of 40 closed in the green mark, while the remaining 10 companies closed down in the red mark. Among Sensex constituents, Tata Group company Trent was the biggest gainer of the day, rising 6.74 per cent, while NTPC shares were the biggest losers, falling 1.64 per cent.
Rise in many shares including IndiGo, Adani Ports and BEL
Among the rest of the Sensex stocks today, IndiGo shares closed with a gain of 6.01%. After this Adani Ports 5.47%, BEL 4.54%, SBI 3.89%, Eicher Motors 3.34%, L&T 2.95%, Axis Bank 2.66%, Titan 2.63%, Asian Paints 2.61%, Mahindra & Mahindra 2.53%, Bajaj Finance 2.45%, TCS 2.09%, Infosys 2.00%, Reliance 1.83%, Maruti Suzuki 1.64%, Tata Steel 1.51%, HDFC Bank 1.41%, Bajaj Finserv 1.36%, Tech Mahindra 1.29%, ITC 1.29%, HCL Tech 1.17%, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.81%, ICICI Bank 0.61% and Hindustan Unilever closed with gains of 0.42%.
Shares of these companies closed with a decline
On the other hand, apart from NTPC, Sun Pharma shares closed 1.64% lower on Wednesday. After this, Power Grid closed with a fall of 1.13%, UltraTech Cement 0.29% and Bharti Airtel closed with a fall of 0.13%.
