New Delhi, March 8 (IANS). For centuries, traditional medicines have been present in Indian homes, which have been used in the treatment of common and emergent health problems.
One such home medicine is Amritdhara, which is used in our homes since ancient times. It is used in the problems caused by headache, sudden nervousness and nausea, but in today’s time Amrit Dhara is becoming extinct.
Traditional Amritdhara made with very few ingredients has been used in Indian homes. Made from a combination of pungent and aromatic substances like Bhimseni camphor, mint mint, and celery juice, this substance is used in small quantities and is considered helpful in common physical problems. The body starts feeling weak due to headache, sudden nervousness and nausea. BP also starts falling due to nervousness. In such a situation, people of all ages should use Amritdhara.
Amritdhara cools the body, which also provides relief from headache and migraine, indigestion, nausea, restlessness, and cold. The method of making Amrit Dhara is also easy. Mix camphor extract, celery extract and mint extract in a glass bottle and close it immediately. Shake it a little and apply it on the affected area. These three elements interact with each other and form a medicine. Avoid putting it in ears, nose and eyes.
Amrit Dhara is pungent in taste but fragrant. Do not leave it open for a long time, because it is evaporating liquid and evaporates as soon as it comes in contact with air.
If you have a headache then apply it directly on the forehead, in case of toothache apply it on the affected area with the help of cotton and if you have problems related to stomach and indigestion then consume it in small quantities. If there is bad breath, then gargling with it mixed with water also provides relief. Pregnant women and children must take doctor’s advice before consuming it. If you feel burning sensation when applying it then avoid it.
