68 -year -old Mukesh Ambani once again proved that it is not easy to shake the throne of his wealth. With assets of Rs 9.55 lakh crore, he remains at the top position continuously. The Adani family is second with Rs 8.15 lakh crore. But the real surprise was when HCL chairperson Roshni Nadar Malhotra managed to make it to the top-3 for the first time. With assets of Rs 2.84 lakh crore, she not only became the richest woman in India, but also the youngest member in the top-10.

Dr. Payal Kanodia, President of M3M Foundation, says that real estate is no longer a business, but has become a symbol of diversity and self -sufficiency. At the same time, Hurun India founder Anas Rahman Junid believes that the total assets of India’s billionaires have now reached Rs 167 lakh crore and most of it belongs to the first generation entrepreneurs.
