There was no change in fuel prices in major cities of the country today. In the national capital Delhi, petrol remained unchanged at its previous rate of ₹102.12 per litre, while diesel remained steady at ₹95.20 per litre. In the financial capital Mumbai, petrol remained steady at ₹111.21 and diesel at ₹97.83. Meanwhile, prices also remained unchanged in Noida (Uttar Pradesh), where petrol is available at ₹101.96 and diesel at ₹95.44 per litre.
**Good news for residents of Patna and Gurgaon! Reduction in fuel prices**
Residents of Patna, the capital of Bihar, felt relieved this morning. Here petrol prices saw a significant drop of 87 paise, taking the price to ₹113.37 per litre. Similarly, diesel has become cheaper by 84 paise and is now selling at ₹99.36. In Haryana’s Gurgaon (Gurugram), petrol dropped by 35 paise to ₹102.62 per litre, while diesel declined by 34 paise to ₹95.30 per litre. A slight decline in prices has also been recorded in Bengaluru.
**Burden on pockets increased in Jaipur, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar; Prices increased**
Today fuel prices have increased in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur. Here, petrol has increased by 32 paise to ₹112.98 per litre, while diesel has increased by 28 paise to ₹98.06 per litre. In Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), petrol has become costlier by 15 paise to ₹102.04 per litre, while diesel has reached ₹95.53 per litre. Apart from this, Bhubaneswar (Odisha) and Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) also recorded a slight increase today.
**The most expensive fuel is available in this city; Cheapest here**
According to the list released today, petrol is being sold at ₹115.69 per liter in Hyderabad – making it the costliest among major cities in the country. Whereas, in case of diesel, Thiruvananthapuram tops the list with ₹104.22 per litre. Residents of Union Territory Chandigarh also got relief today; The price of petrol here is ₹101.51, while diesel remains the cheapest in the entire country, available to consumers at just ₹89.47 per litre.
