Will the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana be released before the budget? The budget in the country is going to be presented on 1 February. Lakhs of farmers associated with the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are now eagerly waiting for the 22nd installment. Ever since the 21st installment has been received, the question is arising whether the next installment will come before the budget of 2026 or the farmers will have to wait a little longer. Since the Union Budget is scheduled to be presented on 1 February 2026, expectations have naturally increased.
What is the current situation regarding the 22nd installment?
At present, no official announcement has been made by the government regarding the date of the 22nd installment. As per the rules of the scheme, an installment is released every four months. The previous, i.e. the 21st installment was released in November 2025. Therefore, the four-month period will be completed in February 2026. This is why it is believed that the next installment of Rs 2,000 can be transferred to the accounts of farmers around February or during the budget session.
Is there any hope of increasing the amount this time?
Farmers have high expectations from this budget. There is also discussion in rural areas and on social media that the government can increase the annual amount of Rs 6,000. However, there is no definite information about this yet. If the government takes any major decision, it will be visible in the budget speech. At present, there is no new update related to the next installment on PM Kisan Portal.
What to do to ensure that there is no delay in installments?
It has been seen that the installments of many farmers get stuck due to minor reasons. If you want to get the 22nd installment without any interruption, then it is important to pay attention to some important things. First of all, e-KYC must be complete, because without it the money will not be received. Second, the land records must be correct and visible on the portal. Third, ensure that your name is present in the beneficiary list, as many names get deleted during updates.
