When can I get the 22nd installment?
Till now, a total of 21 installments have been transferred to the accounts of farmers under PM Kisan Yojana. Looking at the timeline of the previous installments, the month of February seems to be right for the next installment. At present, no official date has been announced by the government. However, according to media reports, the 22nd installment is expected to be released in February. It is also believed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself can release this installment, as has happened with many previous installments. The government will also present the budget in February, so it is believed that the installment may be released even before the budget. However, the exact date will be known only after the official announcement.
Complete these important tasks to avoid delay in payment
Many farmers’ installments get delayed because their documents or information is incomplete. The first important task is e-KYC. Farmers who have not yet completed e-KYC will not get the installment. Apart from this, it is also necessary to link the bank account with Aadhaar. If the account is not linked to Aadhaar, money transfer may fail. Similarly, if there is any discrepancy in name, Aadhaar number, bank details or land related information during registration, the installment will be delayed. Therefore, it is best for farmers to check their profile on the PM Kisan Portal from time to time and ensure that all the information is correct.
