If PNG pipeline is available in your area, it is much easier, safe and economical. Paying a little bit every month does not put a burden on the pocket. Where there is no pipeline facility, LPG is better.
Calculation of government rate in Delhi
Indraprastha Gas Limited in Delhi is ₹ 49.59 per SCM i.e. standard cubic meter. Suppose a normal family uses 8-10 SCM gas every month.
Accordingly, your monthly bill can be between 400 and 500 rupees. While the price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi is Rs 853 and the 19 kg LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 1580.
