If you are thinking which gas will be right for your kitchen, then let us understand its work.
What is PNG? (What is png)
PNG means piped natural gas. It reaches your house directly through pipes. There is no hassle of carrying the cylinder. The bill comes according to your use.
What is LPG?
LPG means liquided petroleum gas. It comes to you as a cylinder. Booking has to be done every month. If the gas is exhausted, it is necessary to order a new cylinder.
What is the difference between the two? (PNG vs LPG)
There are four major differences between these two gases. As:
Security – PNG is lighter than air, so leakage spreads quickly and is less dangerous. LPG is heavy, so it may accumulate below when leakage and the risk of accident is high.
Facility – Continuous supply from PNG pipeline. Not worried about the end of the cylinder. In LPG, there is a hassle of booking and taking cylinders every time.
Payment system – PNG does not require advance payment. The more you use, the more bill will come. In LPG, the entire price of the cylinder has to be paid simultaneously.
Economic – PNG is affordable in most cases, as the bill comes according to consumption. At the same time, the price of LPG is decided by the government and varies from time to time.
Who is better for your kitchen?
Monthly Uses (SCM) cost rate (₹/SCM) Estimated Bill (₹) 8 SCM 49.59 8 × 49.59 = ₹ 398.7 10 SCM 49.59 10 × 49.59 = ₹ 495.9
If PNG pipeline is available in your area, it is much easier, safe and economical. Paying a little bit every month does not put a burden on the pocket. Where there is no pipeline facility, LPG is better.
