After a long time, a tremendous rise was seen in the domestic stock market on Friday. In the last trading session of the week, the market closed with a gain of about 2 percent. Today, the BSE Sensex rose 1,695.40 points (2.30%) to close at 75,527.95, while the NSE Nifty 50 index closed 461.30 points (1.99%) higher at 23,622.90. The special thing is that due to the increasing expectations of an agreement between America and Iran, the prices of crude oil fell, which gave momentum to the market.
**Market opened with a gain of more than 1 percent**
On Friday, the market’s key indices—Sensex and Nifty 50—began trading with gains of over 1 per cent. BSE Sensex opened at 74,709.27, registering a strong gain of 876.72 points (1.19%). Similarly, NSE Nifty 50 index started the day at 23,412.55, up 250.95 points (1.08%).
**Huge rise in shares of Bajaj Finance**
On Friday, 28 out of 30 Sensex companies closed with gains (green marks), while the remaining two closed with losses (red marks). At the same time, 39 out of 50 companies in Nifty 50 closed with gains and the remaining 11 closed with decline. Among the Sensex companies, Bajaj Finance shares registered the highest gain of 5.62%. In contrast, shares of major IT company Tech Mahindra saw the biggest decline of 2.24%. Power Grid was the second Sensex stock to close with losses, ending the session down 0.58 per cent.
Today trading closed with a huge rise in the shares of these companies.
Other Sensex companies include L&T (4.94%), Indigo (4.59%), Titan (4.03%), Eternal (3.85%), HDFC Bank (3.73%), Axis Bank (2.92%), Bajaj Finserv (2.69%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (2.61%), UltraTech Cement (2.51%), Reliance Industries (2.39%), Bharti Airtel (2.27%), Maruti Shares of Suzuki (2.12%) and Asian Paints (2.06%) closed with good gains.
Shares of these companies including Tata Steel and ICICI Bank closed with gains.
Apart from this, Tata Steel (1.98%), ICICI Bank (1.74%), State Bank of India (1.62%), Trent (1.58%), Adani Ports (1.45%), Mahindra & Mahindra (1.40%), Hindustan Unilever (1.32%), TCS (1.23%), BEL (1.04%), ITC (1.01%), NTPC (0.55%), Sun Pharma (0.53%), Infosys. Shares of (0.22%) and HCL Tech (0.05%) also registered gains.
