The central government provides benefits to crores of farmers across the country under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. A total of 20 installments have been sent so far under this scheme. Now the farmers are waiting for the 21st installment, which is expected to be released in the first week of November. Last year, the government had released the 10th, 14th and 20th installments in the same period. Therefore, it is being estimated that this time also the funds will be transferred to the accounts of the farmers on time.
Farmers who have completed the necessary formalities related to the scheme will not face any problem in receiving this installment. However, if a farmer’s account or Aadhaar related processing is incomplete, their payment may be delayed. Farmers will have to complete these two tasks before the 21st installment is released. Let us give complete information.
Can the installment come in the first week of November?
The central government releases an installment to the farmers every four months throughout the year. The last installment was sent to the accounts of farmers in August. Therefore, based on calculations, the next installment is expected to arrive by early November. Till now, an amount of more than Rs 3 lakh crore has been distributed to the farmers under this scheme. Before the 21st installment arrives, farmers who have discrepancies in their accounts or land records will have to update them. The government has already sent the 21st installment to three states affected by heavy rains and floods this year. Now, farmers of other states are also going to get its benefits. However, no official information has been released by the government yet.
These two things are important:
Before the 21st installment arrives, farmers will have to complete two important tasks as soon as possible. First, e-KYC, which can be done through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana portal or by visiting the nearest Common Service Centre. The second task is land verification, which verifies the land records of the farmer on the state revenue portal.
If any of these processes remains incomplete, the installment will be stopped. Due to this reason, the previous installments of many farmers were delayed. Therefore, the government is repeatedly appealing to the farmers not to delay. Only after completing these two tasks, the farmer’s information will be included in the final list and the installment will be deposited directly into his bank account.
