Today is the last trading session of the week, and a 10 point gain in GIFT NIFTY shows that the market is likely to open flat today. In the previous session, Nifty closed at 23,907, registering a marginal decline of 6 points. At what level will a big rise be seen in Nifty?
Closing at 23,719 on May 22, Nifty indicated a breakout.
The breakout was confirmed on May 25, after closing above 23,865.
Now Nifty will have to fill the gap created on May 8 and May 11.
The low on May 8 was 24,126, while the high on May 11 was 23,997.
On May 26, the index touched an intraday high of 24,089 – very close to the gap zone.
Now closing above 24,125 will further increase the pace of rise.
In this situation, the next target for Nifty will be in the range of 24,475–24,600.
Where is Nifty’s support range?
Market guru Anil Singhvi said that right now both the market trend and sentiment remain neutral. From a technical perspective, Nifty’s support zone for today’s session lies in the range of 23,700–23,815; Moreover, strong buying is seen in the range of 23,575–23,675, which lies below this key support zone. 23,975–24,075 is the upper zone, and above this, profit booking is done in the 24,100–24,175 zone.
