The stock market is again showing a declining trend. On Monday, Nifty closed at 25,227 with a fall of 58 points. The reason for this was the imposition of 100% additional tariff on China by America. However, the US market rallied strongly yesterday and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose more than 1.25%. SGX Nifty is up 12 points, indicating a green opening today.
On the other hand, retail inflation is at an eight-year low. Foreign investors have again adopted a selling stance. FIIs sold ₹240 crore in the cash market, while DIIs bought ₹2,333 crore.
