SGX Nifty is down 70 points, indicating light profit booking in the market today. US markets fell yesterday due to selling in tech stocks. The Nasdaq fell 350 points and the Dow fell 170 points. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said that the trade deal with America will be signed in the next 2-3 days. Only then will it be clear which sectors will benefit from this deal and which will be negatively impacted.
After a long time, FIIs made big purchases yesterday. FIIs made the biggest cash purchase since October 28, 2025 at ₹5236 crore. Including cash, index and stock futures, FIIs made net purchases of ₹16764 crore. Domestic funds also bought shares worth ₹1014 crore yesterday.
