Application Date for Aakanksha Exam has Been Extended: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has extended the last date for online application for Aakanksha Exam.
Now students can apply for this examination till 30th January.
This decision has been taken due to non-availability of required number of applications from many districts by the earlier stipulated time. This decision of JAC has brought relief to those students who due to some reason were not able to apply till now.
Akanksha exam is for bright students
Aspiration Exam is an ambitious scheme of the state government. Its main objective is to identify bright and talented students and give them better opportunities for further studies.
Through this examination, such students are selected who have the ability to perform well in studies. To make the scheme successful, it is important that more and more students appear in the examination.
Full target expected from all districts
Jack had already set the target of application for all the districts and informed the district education officers about it. But in many districts the applications could not be made as per the target.
For this reason, a decision was taken to extend the date of application. Now as per the revised date, all the districts will have to compulsorily ensure that the applications are filled as per their respective targets.
Appeal to students, parents and schools
The Council has appealed to the students appearing in the Annual Secondary Examination 2026, their parents, school principals and district education officers to complete the application process for the Akanksha Examination in time.
