The preliminary examination for the recruitment of IBPS Probationary Officer (IBPS PO) was conducted on 17, 23 and 24 August 2025. Candidates appearing in this exam are now waiting for the results, which is expected to be declared this week. Results will be declared online on the official website of the Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) ibps.in. Candidates will be able to watch their login information and watch them online. No candidate will be sent personally result details.
The main examination is scheduled to be held on 12 October.
The IBPS will also declare the cutoff along with the results. Candidates crossing the required cutoff will be eligible to appear in the main examination. The main examination is scheduled to be held on October 12, 2025. The admit cards of successful candidates will be made available for download on the official website a few days before the exam date.
Main exam pattern
According to the new pattern of the IBPS main examination, the total number of questions asked in the examination will be reduced from 155 to 145. Earlier, 180 minutes time was given to complete the question paper, but now it will take only 160 minutes. Candidates who are successful in the main examination will be invited for interview. Finally, a final list will be prepared and announced. Candidates who get a place in the final list will be appointed to vacant posts.
