JET Exam 2026 Jharkhand: The concern of the candidates is increasing regarding the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2026 conducted by Jharkhand Public Service Commission. About 1.75 lakh candidates will appear in this examination to be held on April 26, for which 434 examination centers have been made across the state.
This examination will be conducted in six districts including Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, East Singhbhum, Hazaribagh and Deoghar. The examination will be conducted in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. In Paper-One, 50 questions of 100 marks will be asked and in Paper-Two, 100 questions of 200 marks will be asked.
However, even before the examination, many candidates have complained about the chaos. A large number of students allege that they have been allotted examination centers in remote districts instead of their selected city, leading to travel and accommodation problems.
Many candidates are also facing problems in downloading the admit card. Some students have complained about discrepancies in names, registration numbers and other details. At the same time, students’ worries have increased due to the helpline number not being available many times.
The Commission has issued a helpline number till April 25 to solve the problems of the candidates, but these flaws that came to light just before the examination have left the candidates preparing in confusion.
Arrangements for biometric and iris verification have been made at the examination centres. Candidates have been instructed to reach the examination center at least an hour before with admit card, valid identity card and passport size photograph.
